We are a family of 4 and are doing the Dining plan. DD is 3 and we will have her credits. Our DS who is almost 2 likes to eat. He eats as much as dd if not more. I am a bit worried about places like O'hana's because when I made the reservation the man said he is free but they don't plan to feed him either. Maybe I took it wrong, but can he not eat off of mine and dh's plate? I know this will be a lot of food for me and there will be enough. Will we have to constantly get our bill corrected? Will they try to take off TS meals for him. We are also doing Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and CRT. I would assume at buffets he gets a little to eat, right? :confused3

He can eat off of your plate. Ohanas is an all you can eat meal served family style. He can have whatever he wants. Where you end up needing to pay is at "menu" restaurants when you want him to have his own children's meal. But for the buffets and the family style, he doesn't count for billing purposes.

Have fun!

Slight correction here: the MYW meal plan specifies that "children aged 3 to 9 must order from the children's menu." So, the OP doesn't ever "have" to buy food for the 2 yo, although she might want to depending on the circumstances.

Didn't mean to imply that she did :)

If she *wants* him to have his *own* children's meal at a menu restaurant, then she will need to pay for it separately. He's able to eat off of other's order's there too, but if a seperate meal is needed then it will need to be paid for seperately (though I suppose she could use a dining credit if there were extras, just not the most efficient use of them given the relatively low cost of children's meals).

children under 3 can eat free at the buffets. We never went to a "MENU" dinner with our girls but we always made DD 1 her own plate at all the buffets and weren't charged for it in the end and by saying that BE VERY CAREFUL when using your credits. Some of the CM's got confused when it was time to pay. Since we had a party of 4 then they would just take off 4 credits when they should have only taken 3. They did this the first 3 days we were there and after many trips to Guest Services they finally got it all worked out. So when you hand them your room key ALWAYS REMIND them not to charge for your 2 yr old.
