We are going to WDW next month and have the dining plan. My question is that my 2 year old DD is going as well. I've been told that she will be considered part of our dining plan and we won't have to pay for her meals but I've also been told that it is expected that she will share meals with the adults and won't have her own meals unless we purchase separately. Does anyone know which it really is? I don't care either way but would like to be prepared nonetheless.

Children two and under eat off their parents plate. At buffets, she can have her own plate, but if you want to order a kids meal for her, you'll have to pay for it. Luckily, kids meals are pretty cheap.

She does not have her own allotments unless you purchased a ticket and meal plan for her. She can share off your plate or go to the buffets for free, but you will be charged if you order anything off the menu for her. My experience on dd first trip (we had DxDP) 4 years ago is that none of the restaurants charged us for her milk even if it wasn't a buffet.
