Dining Plan voucher question

This has surely been discussed in detail, but I'm too lazy to search for it.

Here goes:

For those who've used the dining plan, when you get your receipt for each ts meal, cs meal or snack, will the receipts list how many ts, cs or snack vouchers you used for that "purchase", and how many are left of each? Just curious.

I haven't used it yet, but I have read plenty of threads that confirmed that this is the case.

My understanding is you originally get a receipt with the actual cost, you give them your resord ID with this receipt, then they ring it up and give you a new receipt just showing the total credits used and total credits remaining.

People have said that if you want to track how much money it would have cost, to make sure you write down the amount before you give them your card since they take that receipt and don't return it.

Tracking your meals:

Your meal usage will be tracked electronically to your package reservation. Each time you redeem meals or snacks from your Disney Dining Plan, your server or cashier will provide you witha receipt showing your ramaining balance for that portion of your Disney Dining Plan.

For example, if your party of four (4) started with 20 Counter Service Meals and everyone in the party used one (1) Counter Service Meal, your paid receipt from the cashier would indicate a balance of 16 Counter Service Meals for the remiander of your package stay

We used it last month, yep! It is printed on your receipts. You know what, I just had to add that I only remember seeing the item that was used. So if it's a receipt for a snack, it will have how many snack credits remaining etc.

I also believe that at anytime you can check your credits with the front desk of your resort.
