Has anyone checked to see what snacks might be available on the MYW Dining Plan at the Pop Century food court? How about at the Pepper Market? Wilderness Lodge?

Thanks,

Sheila

We just got back from the POP and they allowed bottles of pop and water (but not powerade) as a snack as well as all ice cream/popsicle treats except Hagaan Daz. They also allow the regular and chocolate dipped rice krispie treats. They allowed single serving bags of the Lays chips/snacks.

If you eat a Counter service meal, take advantage of the many desserts available such as Carrot cake etc. from the ice cream counter. For a breakfast CS credit you also get an extra, so you can get eg. a breakfast platter with a waffle, bacon or eggs & bacon and then a cinnamon bun or something. We found 1 CS credit at Pop fed 2 people for the most part.

Enjoy! Oh yes, if you get the refillable mugs, be sure to take a bottle of something for your CS meal and take it to your room to take to the parks etc. We loaded up for our 3 night stay at Universal with "leftover" snack credits and drinks from the few CS meals we had at POP. It saved money on drinks at Hard Rock Hotel for sure!

I was also curious about the desserts for the CS meal credits - can you have something from the ice cream window, i.e. a cone or sundae, or are there limitations?

I'm interested in the responses to this question as well. We'll be at Pop for the first time in September and it's nice to know in advance what types of things we might be able to order. I'm happy to hear you can get the Rice Krispies treats as a snack. I doubt we'll use all our snack credits and it would be nice to pick up a few of those to bring back for my nieces and nephew. :flower:

We went in July but we stayed at ASMovies resort our kids had ice-cream a couple of times for their desserts what we did was when we got to the counter we would ask the women behind counter she would tell you yes or no the couple times they had the cones she even marked our receipt with excatly what they were having so they could eat lunch then come back grab ice-cream when they were done so it would't melt while the were eating

 I was a little confused about the breakfast extra. Can you go into that further? It sounded like you got dessert with breakfast. Also, my DD (3) is not a big breakfast eater. Are the breakfasts big enough to share with her? Then we could use her CS ticket for her lunch later? Thanks for the info

hopesmommy, the CS meal includes dessert, even for breakfast. :flower:
I've read reports of many people doing exactly as you said.

My son and I used the plan there last April. We able to get a fruit bowls with our breakfast platters.

We were also able to use our snack credits for cake and yogurt cups.
