We are looking at doing the dining plan for one of our upcoming trips. My DS (4) eats VERY LITTLE and my DH eats enough for like 10 people. :lmao: On our trip in November our DS just shared my meals with me and it worked fine. I think the dining plan would be a waste of money for our DS but wondered if we could save his points for another trip or if my DH would be pig enough to use them.

Your credits expire on the day you check out so you can't save them for another trip but your husband could use them or you could use some of the extra for breakfast. Also if you do a character breakfast you can't share so your son would use his credits there.

Tissa' right - the credits expire at midnight of the day you check out.

However, it's possible that you and DH will save enough money on your plans to more than cover the cost of DS. Whether the DP is worth it is very dependent on your family's eating habits. Try heading over to allearsnet.com - check out their menus to get an idea of what you'd like and what you'd spend each day. Don't forget to add tax and tip since those are covered by the DP. Compare what you'd spend to the total cost of the DP for the 3 of you to see if it's worth it or not.

We saved a LOT of money using the DP for our last trip, but it doens't work for everyone. Doing the math may surprise you. :)
