Just curious as to whether or not any one knows if they only reserve a certain amount of tables at restaurants for people who have the dining plan. I am having a hard time getting ADR's. They always ask if you have the dining plan I am debating on calling again and when they ask it I have the dining plan saying no just to see what happens. I did get a seating for the storybook princess breakfast at Epcot, when they asked me if I had the dining plan I said yes but we would not be using it for that meal. :smooth:

I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not you can get an ADR......last year there was no dining plan (free or otherwise) and I was always asked if I had a package that included dining (gold plan, silver plan, platinum plan included meals). I think it's put on your ADR so the restaurant knows how to charge you for your meal.

I agree with the previous poster. I think they only ask so it can be noted in the system.

When I made some ADR's last week, I asked if they needed to know ahead of time about the dining plan (we had made some ADR's before getting the free dining). She said, 'No, they prefer to note it on your reservation, but it's okay to tell them when you check in'.

I got CRT Lunch today for 8/27 and they asked if I was on dining plan and I said "yes" so I'm pretty sure it doesn't effect it. It was funny, the CM sounded almost as excited as I did, she squealed with excitement when she found the ADR for me, I had to ask her "omg did you find something?" :goodvibes
