Dining Plan Question

We are doing a split stay with the first half of our stay on the dining plan and then a room only reservation for the second half of the trip. I am planning my ADR's and counter service meals and it looks like I may have a few counter service meals leftover. I know the meals are only good until the day we check out, is it possible to use up the remaing credits at our second resort, by buying a bunch of "to go" meals an then sticking them in the fridge to be used later?? Is that a good idea or am I missing something??

Just to further clarify, think of your dining plan credits as a bank. You can withdraw them in any combination until midnight of the day you check out. Hope it works out for you! :goodvibes

Thanks I have another question about pooling child credits and paying OOP for their meals. I am searching but cannot find a thread that discusses this. Can someone point me in the right direction on this or to a thread?? Everything I read leading up to getting the plan said you could pool but now I am seeing some posts saying you can't. I would love the "official" word on this.
