Dining plan question

With the latest rumor of a new dining plan option, some people are thinking that prices might go up for all plans as well. Will this effect purchasing a dining plan thru DVC?

I remember something from a few years back that DVC dining plan prices are agreed upon with Disney for the entire year...is this still true such that although the dining plan rates might increase for the general public, for DVC, they will stay the same until the begining of next year?

I read about that and since 2020 rates have come out, I bet those stay the same and the new one will be priced.

New offerings always sound good to me - until the price is announced! This one will probably turn out the same. We should know by the end of this week since it's slated to begin 2/27.

Ya with it starting in 3 days one might think they would have a price set for it. We have TIW and use it for 3 trips. We have done the deluxe dining plan in the past and that is a lot of food and time. I think I gained 10 pounds that trip.
