Dining plan question

Hello everyone just have a quick question about the dining plan. I haven't had done th dining plan in years since purchasing dvc I like having the full kitchen and 2 quite frankly the dining plan is a lot of food when staying for 9 days. Anyway this time I'm doing a split stay and am contiplating get do the Disney plan for the 1 part when it's only 3 days. My question is this my Disney comes with the plan when I go over to the other part of my vacation do I have to buy all new mugs or is there a small fee just to have them reactivated ?

The RFID chip in them is good for 14 days once activated so you should be fine.

You might want to consider the deluxe DDP for your split stay. The extra table service credits gives you the opportunity to do signature resorts plus you get an appetizer.
