What happens if we have 1 ts credit left but we want to dine at a restaurant that uses 2, do we pay half of the bill? Thanks for any info!

You can't use the credit, I'm fairly certain. There's no way for their system to apply it. It is all or nothing.

Have you tried calling 407.WDW.DINE and asking them?

I think you'd have to use 2 credits on that one and then pay OOP on a single credit meal.

Not sure if this would work, but are there at least two of you dining together? If so, I would think you'd each have 1 TS left, so use those two for one meal and pay for the other. Can't see why that wouldn't work since credits are pooled and not assigned to one person.

You cannot use 1 credit for a 2 credit meal and make up the difference with cash. If there are 2 of you and you each have 1 TS credit left, one person could use both TS credits and the second person can pay OOP for a meal.
