Dining Plan Question

My wife and I will have 8 TS credits between the 2 of us for our upcoming trip.

We currently have 10 TS credits reserved.
Crystal Palace Dinner (2 credits)
Tusker House Breakfast (2 credits)
Cape May Dinner (2 credits)
CRT Breakfast (4 credits) - which we have prepaid

My plan is to pay for one of the breakfasts at CRT out of pocket and use the two remaining dining credits at CRT. Is this allowed and wouldn't this be the best value for us?

Would they just refund credit card for one meal?


Also we have a Fastpass for lunch at BOG - We preordered meals and it is counting our 2 year old daughters kids meal as a use of a CTR service credit. I wanted to pay out of pocket for that meal. Would it be better for us to choose expedited arrival or can we sort out the payment when we get there?

1. Yes, you can pay OOP for one CRT meal and use 2 credits for the other. This thread includes the prices for the fixed meals that have been announced by Disney. I haven't looked at it for your specific restaurants, but my guess is the per credit value of CRT will be less than any of the other restaurants so the best to pay OOP. Here's the thread link:

2. Yes, let your server know that you now plan to pay for one of the meals with the DDP and they will refund your credit card. Because you want to split the payment between the DDP and OOP, it would be better to wait and do this at CRT. The servers are used to making changes in payment method.

3. I haven't done BOG with FP+ so hopefully someone else can answer your question. However, since she isn't on the dining plan and you would like to order a meal for her it would be OOP. At TS and CS she can share your meal, but if you order anything for her it would be OOP.
