dining plan question

so i was going through all my adrs and i suddenly had a thought

can you use a table service credit to buy counter service food ?

i just dont think i will want to book 14 table service meals ??

if i have to i will but i was just curious

looking outside tody at all the rain just makes me want to get on that plane even tho i hate flying lol

we have been with 14 ts credits and has one as a dinner show and one as a signature which uses up 2 each. we had more then enough food and towards the end the kids were groaning at having to eat again

you won't be able to swap them for cs instead, unless they run an offer to exchange them.

You don't necessarily have to book them all, you can still have a burger or whatever spur of the moment in a lot of places rather than counter service. I'm sure I read on here that some places might accept them or the hotel might change them on your card. They won't change them from CS to TS but would do it the other way. I may have made that up though.

You might be able to use a TS credit for CS, but it all depends on the restaurant, the CM, how busy the venue is...

People have reported that they've had better luck at the Food Courts in the resorts, but again there is no guarantee.

Far fewer people have been able to do it in the parks.

The best you can do is ask first and see if they will allow it.

If you have spare credits I suggest 1 or 2 Dinner shows, they include your alcoholic drinks and tips for 2 credits. A signature meal for 2 credits or do 1 or 2 character breakfasts, only 1 credit(exept CRT) but you can still eat an evening TS meal the same day and don't need to spend on lunch.

Even when we had 21 days of credits to use we had no problem using every one, both TS & CS.

If its just you don't want to book them rather than having too many then wait til you are there, book the popular ones then when out there book last minute when you are ready, you can usually get in at places like Trails End, Boma & numerous more.
