Dining Plan Question

I was just wondering if there are any exclusions to items on the menus if you are on the Dining Plan? Are there certain items you can order or can you order any entree on the menu? thanks

There are very few restrictions and my knowledege isn't complete by any measure:

There are couple of sushi items at California Grill and there may be some exclusions at Tutto and Teppen Edo in Epcot. At Beaches & Cream the Kitchen Sink dessert isn't covered.

However, people think the Surf & Turf is not available at Narcoossee's, I've had it and even made a substitution that was covered under the plan.

For the most part you can get anything on the menu. Just know appetizers aren't included with the Basic plan.

The exclusions are few and far between. The sushi at California Grill doesn't seem to be excluded from the plan, but some of the sushi dishes must be ordered as an entree rather than an appetizer (this is only relevant if you are on the Deluxe plan). And you may not be able to order fixed price "special" or "family style" menus, if you are at a restaurant that also has a regular menu. (Restaurants like 'Ohana that serve their entire menu family style are OK). Some restaurants may exclude dessert "samplers" or require 2 people to order them.

Thanks for the info So far we have ADR's for our trip in Sept. @ Coral Reef, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Capt. Jack's, Ohana, Sci Fi Dine In, and Tony's.

You shouldn't have any issues with exclusions and enjoy numerous wonderful meals with that line up.
