If you have DDP, do you usually still eat a quick breakfast in the room in the morning before heading out?

we typically stop by a walmart on the way down to WDW. we pick up some breakfast items like pop tarts. also, we usually have leftover dessert from the night before. i'm not ashamed to eat chocolate at 7am.

We do. Last Sept I went down to the bakery every morning and got something for use to share and brought it back to the room. I generally used snack credits but one or two mornings we used CS credits because we had extras.

I love bagels. So I abstain all other times of the year so it is a treat for me there. If we use the DDP, I use a snack credit at the mercantile. I usually bring cereal for my husband.

That is the way to get the most out of DDP. The only table service breakfast I would recommend is one with characters as we have 3 little ones. You get soooo much more for your money using table service for late lunch/dinners. Either way it is still way too much to eat.

That's what we do. We use the counter service for our noon meal and the TS for our evening meal. When we have some of the signatures planned, we use the better CS places for our main meal the next day. We especially like some of the food courts, and Starring Rolls at MGM for noon. Flame Tree at AK is a favorite CS place for us too.

thanks - that was basically what I was thinking, the kids arnt big eaters, so bagels and juice or english muffins in the room is perfect, and as long as Imake myself coffee, im set!!!we are only there for 3 nights, 3 mornings, so i will just go to the resort store and pick up some stuff, and will probably bring little stuff with me also - coffee, sugar, microwave popcorn.

If we do DDP (heck, even if we don't) that's largely the plan. In 7 days (6 nights) we'll do 2 breakfasts outside our room: One at Bomas and one at Kona Cafe...both we'll pay for OOP, regardless of whether we do DDP or not.

All but one TS credit will be used for dinner.....and that one is being used for a character buffet lunch (and we'll be doing a combo CS/room dinner).

All assuming we do the DDP (which isn't definite as of yet...we'll see what '08's changes bring).

That last one is a staple of life! :)

We've already got it on our "to bring" list....for our trip in Jan. :)

We bring Father-in -law & my Bro to be short order cooks in our room for breakfasts!!! works out great that way, then we use our DP for lunch & dinner. We try not to eat for a month before our trip, So much good food, getting me hungry for the tastes of WDW!!!!

We brought pop-tarts for breakfast, but you get soooo much food on the DDP that you could get some big muffins or bagels with your snack credits also.;)

That's what we do too except at BCMarketplace. We use most of our QS credits there. That way we can enjoy a quiet breakfast in our villa with clean hands. That is one of my pet peeves about QS. How do you collect food, keep it warm or cold and have everyone with clean hands at a clean table. But I guess that is OT!:rotfl:
