We are traveling the week after Thanksgiving to WDW with my parents. My family is staying at WLV (hopefully) and my parents are staying at their 2nd home about 20 minutes away. I want to get the dining plan for my family, and I would like to "treat" my parents to a couple of meals using my dining plan. We will not be able to use all of out TS meals anyway for the week that we will be there. Does anyone have any comments on whether or not this can be done, or any comments in general? TIA! :teeth:

No problem! All your meals for everyone in your room are pooled onto everyones card (meaning they don't take everyone's room key to take off one TS) so just tell them your paying for everyone. Just double check your receipt and make sure they took off the correct number of TS's!

That is so AWESOME!! Thanks!! I LOVE the Disney restaurants, but my DSF doesn't like to pay to eat out, especially when his home is less than 30 min's away. I want them to get the full Disney experience without having to leave the parks, since we are doing MVMCP and the CP. I am buying the tickets for them for the special events, since I know they will think the price is outrageous, and it would be nice to treat them for dinner as well. I am making this part of their Christmas present, as long as they allow me to be their "tour guide", I know they will have a great time. They just don't like to spend the money to eat at Disney, (which is weird to me because they have the money to spend) and they are the part of the crowd that brings brown bag lunches into the parks, or they will leave the park to eat, not that there is anything wrong with that, we just don't like to have to prepare lunches or cook meals when on vacation. I am very excited now to be able to plan and just let it be a surprise for them, without having to hear them complain about money. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad you asked that question. I had no idea you could do that and I'm definitely going to keep it in mind for our next trip :thumbsup2
