Dining Plan Question about Breakfast in the Park

I know that the Brakfast in Park voucher can be used for Counter Service Lunch or Dinner. Does anyone know what the cash value is of the Breakfast vouchers?

I am very fortunate. My parents gave us a travel voucher for joint birthdays and annivarsary. In order to use the total amount, I can purchase the dining plan. Now I would never buy it on my own. But since we have the credit, we will probably be including it. The Disney Dining plan includes a "Breakfast in the Park". As we are not big breakfast eaters, I would rather use it for a counter service lunch. Disney Dining said we can use it for the cash value of breakfast and pay the difference. I think I vaguely remember reading here it is about $8. Just wanted to varify so we can budget additional spending money. We were just there in November and did all the character meals, tours, Fantasmic etc. AND have a trip planned elsewhere in 2 weeks. So this trip (though pretty much free) is not in the budget for the non essentials.
