dining plan/pin code ??

OK I was lucky enough to get the pin code am booked at WL room only. I want to add dining plan. Can I get dining plan for 5-25 thru 5-29 if I purchase plan with 1 day MMW tickets?? I am purchasing AP's so I dont really need more than enough days to be able to purchase Package to get dining plan.
I know about the DDE but as I will not be purchasing AP until I get to disney as I would not be able to activate until I get to the parks. I wont be able to purchase DDE until I return as I remember reading they take awhile to receive in the mail.

So should I call and find out or wait until I get to hotel and ask desk clerk? I remember last year I had a question at check in and it took 5 desk clerks and 1 supervisor to figure out an answer. I really dont want to be that person at the counter that seems to have been there forever. OH how I hate THOSE people.

Many have reported that they can get the package, with the pin codes, and post card rates. I haven't tested this theory, since I have never gotten an E-mail, or a postcard. I'm not bitter, really I'm not.

You are right that you need to purchase park tickets for at least 1 day, to make it a package.
