Hi all,

I am wondering if the price of the DDP is not increased during the published peak seasons for 2011 (spring break, summer, Christmas) does that mean the restaurants will not charge the increased rate either outside of those time windows?

We went to Disney in June and were dismayed to find the increased price for food at most buffets and restaurants. Come to find out that it is considered 'peak' season for dining and they increase the price for most restaurants. We thought we would definitely do the DDP if we ever went again during peak season given the increased food charges.

So, now we are planning a trip starting the weekend before Thanksgiving, up until the day b4 Thanksgiving. According to the peak chart it is not a 'peak' time so the regular price of the DDP is listed. Does that mean that the restaurants will charge the lower priced menu?

Hopefully this makes sense. Also, I'm not sure the chart I am looking at is reliable, so in the end, my question is, the weekend b4 Thanksgiving into the day before Thanksgiving does anybody know if the DDP is at the increased rate, as well as do the restaurants charge the increased rate during that time?

Thanks!

According to the dining tab above, there are no peak season dates for dining in November, so I would say it should be regular pricing at the restaurants.
