So we are thinking of booking for August 2012. Last time we went in Sept. 2009 and LOVED the dining plan. When we go in 2012 there will be 2 parties. One for me, DH, and DD7. My parents are also thinking of going, but will most likely pay separately (maybe even a different resort on Disney Property).

Here are my questions.
1) When my 180 day window comes, I will log into the online system that will then allow me to book my 180 + 10 reservations. Will I be permitted to book something for a party of 5 (even though my resort reservation is a party of 3).
2) When we pay at the restaurants - if it is a party of 5, can we hand them 2 room cards? I would tell them to take 3 TS credits from my card and 2 TS credits from my parents card? Almost like separate checks.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks again!

We ate a few times with my sister and her family on our last trip. I always booked the reservations for all of us under just my name. Even though we were both on the dining plan (she had regular and I had deluxe), I found it easier to separate the checks up front. You can still do it your way. We were 7 in total, so they added gratuity to each of our separate bills (always fine by us since we both tip over the minimum anyway). You are only 5, so you will still be able to pick your own tip amount.
