Dining plan meal use question

so when we eat at BOG, we only want to use 3 counter service credits for 4 of us.
My youngest daughter (14) only wants to order off of the kids menu and the rest of us are ordering regular meals.

When we pay, how will they know to use the counter service credits for the higher price meals?

If you preorder I don't know if that will work

Otherwise when you pay after ordering you tell them how to handle

You would not be able to preorder (it won't allow you to pay in multiple ways) so this would be done when you order in person. As such, if push comes to shove, just do 2 separate orders.

Don't preorder. Just tell the castmember how you want to split up the meal credits after you order. It should be no problem. Cheers!!!!!

If you don't pre-order, it may take you longer to get in the restaurant depending when you are there. When we went for breakfast, pre-orders were let right in, and the people who had to go to the ordering kiosks were in a fairly decent line (was breakfast on a pretty busy Spring Break day - crowds of 7, I think). We were glad we pre-ordered.

I might suggest trying to find an ADR for 1 person at (or close to) the time you have currently. Then you can pre-order - the 3 meal plan diners on one reservation and your daughter paying out-of-pocket on the other. You will probably have to put someone else on that single reservation since I think you must be at least 18 to hold an ADR. Otherwise, as others have said you will have to order in-person on lines that can get long.
