If you are wondering why restaurants are missing from the 2009 dining plan list

I printed the PDF and a few locations at Epcot have been removed from the Dining Plan, and Yak and Yeti at AK. I hope this is incorrect.

I believe this happens every year and then they are gradually added back in as contracts are signed between WDW and the companies that own the restaurants.

Hopefully they will add it back. Also missing is Wolfgang Puck cafe and express and Earl of Sandwich. I bookmarked the PDF to keep an eye out to see if they get added back. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We see this every year. The restaurants that are left off the current 2009 list are not owned by Disney. It takes longer for the dining plan participation contracts to be finalized for non-Disney restaurants. By the end of the year most, if not all, of these restaurants will be returned to the list.

Last year the major holdout was Teppan Edo, it took them forever to finalize their contract and be added to the dining plan list.

There are already threads on this topic and I am merging them into this thread.

Can someone send me a link to how I can find the restaurants listed so far? And anyone have a link to find the daily rates? I can't find them on Disney's site!

Thanks!

Could you Post the Link for everyone, Because I am sure you will be asked again and again;) Thanks a million, Kimmie

Just to make sure.....those restaurants that are left off of the 2009 dining plan will still be accepting the DP until 2009 right?

I was planning on going to WGP Express on our trip in September and just wanted to make sure.

Thanks :goodvibes

I went to the dining section of the WDW website and was unable to locate the participating restaurant list. Could you please share the location of the list?

I looked at the lists and realized that all of the restaurants at Coronado Springs were missing. I'm assuming that they will be added at some point. We were thinking of going back there in 2009 but won't if they aren't included on any of the dining plans.

I'm such a ding dong. I just thought if they weren't on the brochure, then they wouldn't be allowed. I was already making changes for our trip next summer.

The restaurants at Coronado Springs are not owned by Disney. It's likely they will be added to the 2009 dining plan list later.
