I cant figure this stuff out about credits and stuff. Can anyone break this down into caveman terms? lol If we wanted to have an evening dinner at The Garden Grill for instance, is that meal paid with the Disney Dining plan? Or if we wanted a hamburger lunch plate or something at Disney, is that covered? And then you leave your tip? :confused3 Can you bring an ice chest of drinks and snacks to your resort room apon arrival?

My husband likes to walk around with a mountain dew liter. lol

You may keep an ice chest of drinks in your room if you wish. Many people do, as WDW only serves coke products so if pepsi products are a must then you will want your own. If you are staying moderate or deluxe you will have a fridge in your room so you won't need your own cooler.

As far ar the DDP is concerned there are two versions the regular and the deluxe. The regular gives you one counter service (entree or combo meal and beverage and dessert), one table service (an entree and dessert and NA beverage) and one snack ( single serve item at or around $3.00 value)per person per night of your reservation. The deluxe version is three flexible meal credits that can be used for TS(appy, entree, dessert and NA beverage) or CS (same as above) and two snacks (same as above) as well as one refillable mug per peron per night of stay. TS can be used at nearly all WDW restaurants and do not include gratuity (18% automatically added if your party is 6 or more people)--there is a brochure that lists each participating restaurant. Some TS are considered signature dining and require the use of 2TS credits, there are dinner shows that also require 2TS credits.

Hope that helped and didn't confuse more!

The WDW website has a printable brochure that describes the DDP in pretty simplr terms. It does not answer all questions but is a good place to start to learn the basics.

Yes - you can bring a cooler to your room for drinks and you will have an ice bucket as well. You can even bring a little cooler into the parks if desired. Nothing worse than hot Mountain Dew!:goodvibes
