Dining Plan-How does it work for ressies

I believe I can use the dining plan against character dining and such. How does that work with CRT? Don't I have to put down a deposit when I book a reservation time?

I'm confused on how to do this.

I just made my ADRs for August and free dining. Very easy. Just gave them the date, she told me what times were available, and I chose the one I wanted for each day (TSs) No deposit needed. You are givin a confermation # and You can always call back to change anything, or can cancel or change trhru your resort when your there.

When I booked the Hoop dee doo they asked for a credit card # just in case we didn't show up. Normally they charge that when you make the ressies but since we are using the ddp they didn't.
