Dining Plan for One Night?

Hello everyone! I am renting points through DVC and am staying at SSR for the first night of my trip and then switching over to the Boardwalk for the remaining 4 days. Am I able to purchase the dining plan for that first night at SSR seeing that it will only be for one night? Thanks for your help!

Are you sure it's worth it? A dining Plan usually includes a quick service lunch. So if you're only there in time for dinner then consider paying out of pocket.

Go for the deluxe plan, 3 TS credits and you can use the DDP until midnight of your check in at BW. Make sure that you get a print out of your credits to take with you to BW.

Yes, I have used the mug for a split stay just last month. However on the dining plan description that I read, it stated the mug was good until check out. So my question is, does the dining plan mug work for 2 weeks total as well.

I agree with Bill, often for a day or 2 is the best value out of the DP, esp the dlx plan. That assumes one can make use of it in a good way and at lest get dinner the first night. For Kim and I, we'd get it and get lunch and dinner on the check in day and lunch (or character breakfast) and dinner on the "checkout day", likely with the dlx plan. We often share anyway. Just time the best dining choices to those days if possible.

I have purchased the deluxe plan for a day - sometimes two - quite a few times. I really tire of the dining plan on a longer vacation so this choice provides me with quite a few meals, because I often share, to start off my time on vacation. It has been a great choice and have always used it late into the second or third day. And often have takeout in my fridge after the plan has ended.

The mug isn't a big deal for me as I don't drink much pop or coffee. But hot chocolate - yes please. And sometimes I use it for the coke part of a rum and coke. . So to have it throughout a longer vacation is a nice bonus.

Just last month I got the Dining plan for 1 night at BCV. ( Arrived early and had lunch at Hurricane Hanna's and then Dinner at Cape May).Then I was on the Dream for a week ( Back to back 3 day and 4 day).Then I was at SSR for a day and the refillable mugs were good.

We also do this often, just to get the mugs sometimes. My daughter is doing it next week. One night at BWV, then 2 nights at BCV. She will be doing the QS though. We stay a week after she leaves and will keep the mugs.
