Dining Plan for ALL days

Do you need to get the DDP for every day of the vacation? Originally our trip was planned for Monday-Friday, and we have the DDP booked for those days (ADRs all made). We just decided to arrive on Sunday instead, but it'll be in mid-afternoon, so I don't want to have the DDP for that day. Will this work?

That will work only if you book the extra night as a separate reservation. If you add it onto your current package, you will need to add the dining plan.

The dp allotments go by number of nights stay, not days.You can use your credits anyway you want.You can have nothing the first day and use everything in one day if you so chose.

We live in Alabama and usually we drive to WDW. So I do a room only reservation for our first night because we don't usually get in until late and we don't need a package for that day. Then I start our package on the next day and they will note that on your reservation so you don't have to move rooms - and we have never had to move rooms, but we do try to go at slower times. My husband just goes down and re-checks us in before we leave for the parks and it usually only takes a minute.

From my understanding of your post, I think you need to back up a bit.

If you have ADRs for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, but are currently only staying Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night, then you are currently short a day's credits.

Adding Sunday night to your reservation will give you that extra day's credits for Friday.

bumbershoot is correct. I think you are confusing the DDP days up. The # of credits on the DDP is based on the # of nights you are staying- not days.

SO...if you are staying for 4 nights, you will get 4TS, 4CS, 4 snacks.

5 nights will get 5TS, 5CS, 5 snacks.
