DINING PLAN CHANGES? New Signature Restaurant?

Hi, this is my first post, but I have been reading messages on the forum for a while.

I was looking through the official disney website and I noticed that 'Les Chefs de Frances' is now a 'Disney Signature Restaurant'. NOTE: the dinning plan guide still states that it is a TS credit but perhaps this is soon to change.

I can't post url links because I need more posts but if it you go to the 'Dining Finder' and narrow the search to 'Signature Restaurants' on the Disney World Website you'll see what I mean.

I just looked at their brochure on the web site & it still shows it as TS. Is it somewhere else on the site?

I looked it us in the method you said (did an advanced search requesting all Signature Dining restaurants) and yes it did come up there (along with other 2TS restaurants like Jiko and Yachtsman Steakhouse) but when you click on the "disney dining plan restaurant" link it still shows as 1 TS.

Maybe this indicates an upcoming change?

I think originally it was a Signature and in the last round of changes it was switched to 1TS. I'm not 100% sure maybe more like 90%.

This list doen't appear to coincide with the dining plan, since it inclues Palio and Bistro de France, neither of which participates in the dining plan at this time. The changes for the plan, and for dining in general, seem to be coming along at a breakneck pace so I suppose these changes may be in the works, but if both Chefs and Bistro are considered signature restaurants, I can's see a lot of people choosing Chefs. I also can imagine Bistro de France getting a lot more popular!
