Dining Plan and Discount Codes

I saw somewhere that if you used a discount code on a package you can't get the dining plan. Is that true?

I think its if you use a room only code you can't add the dining. Or in otherwords, no package no dining.

I asked about the AAA discount and the CM told me that is for room only and you could not get the dining if you do room only. You can add tickets but not the dining.

I called AAA directly and got a discount quote on a package that will include the dining.

I went thru AAA and got a discount on a pkg with dinning and it was about 430.00 cheaper then a quote I got off disney online. So I am going with AAA.

can you give me info about who you booked with differnet states get different discounts,,im in iowa and dont have a local office and can book with any aaa office thanks

From what I understand there are AAA and on-line packages, in addition to calling Disney.
But guests would not be able to book (as example) with a room only res using an AP discount room rate, and then add on dining.
The dining is an optional feature with a package. The package can be a discounted package.
