We will be in Disney next week and are looking for inexp:offtopic:ensive places to eat. Any ideas?

Sweet Tomatoes!

Also, we ate Giordano's pizza (our first try at deep-dish). One deceptively tiny small pizza sank the stomachs of two adults and 1 child. We didn't get off the couch for two hours after.

There's are a handful of places right outside DTD at Crossing....McDonald's, Fudruckers, Buffalo Wild Wings, UNOs, Chevys, Taco Bell and I think a TGI Fridays. Goodings supermarket is there also.

We like Steak N Shake for good burgers, fries, and shakes at a lower price than McDonalds. http://www.steaknshake.com/menu
We also like Golden Corrall for a buffet. It's about $11-12 per adults. They have all you care to eat steak on the buffet at dinner and my DH and my sons go nuts over this. They will cook it to your liking (rare, well done, medium rare...) Their carrot cake is so yummy and I love that.

Here is a thread on the Orlando Hotels and Attraction forum with lots of recommendations:

Another vote for Giodarno's Pizza!

Buy a restaurant.com certificate to make it an inexpensive meal. Just make sure you get it for the one closest to WDW on S. Apopka Vineland Rd. near Downtown Disney. There are several restaurants in that area.

there is a Golden Corral across I4 from DtD, I saw it a few times going North on I4 when I drove by. I think it runs $10 a person.

Also an Olive Garden on the corner of Apopka Vineland/Palm Parkway....they do a very good business....been in the same spot since the late 1980's. Another Darden restaurant further down Apopka Vineland (on the other side of I4 underpass) is Bahama Breeze....I've only been there once, but, enjoyed it. And around the corner on Vineland (right before the Outlet Mall) is a Longhorn Steakhouse.....they just opened a little more than a year ago.....

They have about every chain restaurant known to man in the area! We usually pick chains we don't have in our area and go from there!

Not sure if this would help you, but I just saw Chevy's (Apopka-Vineland Rd) has Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays. We've been there a few times and always liked it.

Also close by is Fuddrucker's- they have the best burgers! If you sign up for their e-club, they send you coupons and special deals. DD just got one for a free kids meal for her birthday.

Sweet Tomatoes is also good, and you can sign up to get email coupons, too.
