Dining outside Disney

My favourites have all been mentioned, Race Rock(massive portions), Olive Garden, (fantastic food and Cheap). Also try Fish 'n' Bones just along sandlake road from I drive, excellent food, not as cheap as the others but quality is a cut above.
Don Pablos was great for a Beer and a Mexican ( I drive next to Amerisuites and Homewood suites.)

We were there in august this year and ate at Golden Chorral, Sweet Tomatoes, CiCi pizza, Bennigans and Chillies. We had lovley meals at all of the restaurants and were good value for money.

I have been to Florida several times and have yet to have a bad meal. I know we can be fussy but to be honest if you eat where the Americans eat I don't think you can go far wrong. We might complain about some of the restaurants but lets be honest I find the Florida eats far better than the UK eats and for the price it is excellent value for money.

We liked Tony Romas for steak, Olive Grden Italian and Don Pablos Mexican, all on I Drive. For breakfast we ate in the Ponderosa but after reading this several people have said its not so good. We were there in 2004 and found them excellent, whats changed? :confused3

The problem with Ponderosa is the quality of restaurant varies so much depending on which one you go to.
The best one (in my opinion) is towards the southern side of I-drive, very clean and not bad at all by buffet dining standards.

The last one we visited was a smaller restaurant on the 192, for breakfast, it was horrible.
