I know this is not Disney but we are planning to go to Seaworld and I am wanting some advice on the dining option with the tickets. It looks to me like it is an additional $20.00 per person. Just curious if anyone had done this. It would be for a family of 4. Thanks!

Sometimes the other boards don't get great traffic...

We were there in March and opted against the dining option because it didn't seem like we would have spent that much per person if we just ate as we normally do. That proved to be true. We spent at least $5 less per person for the day.

I think that if you're family consists of a group of big eaters, then it might be worth the extra cost to you. We have three kids, two of which are not big eaters. We ate a small lunch and an average dinner at their "quick serve" type places, just as a point of reference.

Keep in mind that it's only for select restaurants within the park too and options (not only in restaurant, but in food choices) are limited.

Hope that helps :goodvibes

We did not get the meal plan when we went either. Wise decision as we spent less as well.

There may be some park restaurants that are excluded from the plan. The restaurants that are included usually have loooong lines, for obvious reasons.

We did it when we went to SW San Diego - would not do it again BUT it was nice to go in and just grab a water or soda. We did lunch and dinner but were not really hungry, not all food outlets were included and the food was mediocre. It might be a very good deal if traveling with teenage boys that eat nonstop ;)

I don't think I would choose the dining option. We went over in January, we bought one of the refillable cups (they're really nice) for $10 and got refills for $1.00 all day. We ate one meal there and headed back to Disney. I guess if you're going to eat alot more it might be worth it.

We opted to do the free dining, although it isn't free since regular tix are a little cheaper. It was definitely worth it for us since we were there all day and ate all of our meals there, and had alot of snacks and drinks in between. We also weren't planning on going the second day that you would get free with the regular price ticket.
