dining option question

I know the old wishes were per room night per person, and could be pooled, and used any day of your trip. How about the dining options? Is it per park day, or per resort night? If I book 4 nights with 5 days of tickets, am I getting 5 sit downs, 5 counters and 5 snacks, or only 4? Do they have to be used per day, or could I do a character breakfast and sit down dinner the same day?

The dining option is per night. So with 4 nights each person gets 4 sit down meals, 4 counter service meals & 4 snacks. They can be used on any day of your stay and in any order. You could do a sit down and a character meal on the same day.

That's what I would like to know also.

If I chose the Dining Plan, we will have 1 sit down meal left on check out day. Can we use that sit down the morning of check out? or will we lose it?

I am pretty sure you can book your dining package for as many days as you want. I got one quote for a dining package for our nights staying and one quote for the legnth of our park passes. We are staying 5 nights, but doing 6 full days in the parks. Your meal options expire at midnight the last day of use as far as I have been able to find, anyway.

Our example would be, we check in Mon am check out Sat am but we are in the parks Mon am-Sat PM (5 nights stay, 6 park days) so, if we get 6 day dining option, then our meals expire at midnight on Saturday. If you don't use them you lose them.

If you are going to have an extra meal you won't use, what about doing one dinner at a show like Hoop that takes 2 sit-down punches.
