Saiing on the Magic out of New Orleans for Mardi Gras week. Sailed this same week in 2020 on the Wonder, and there was this huge Mardi Gras dinner party in Tianas Restaurant on Mardi Gras day. Just realizing that the Magic has Rapunzels instead of Tianas.... Any one sail last year? I guess no Mardi Gras party...

Tiana's has a Mardi Gras party whenever there are 2 nights in the dining room. Rapunzel's has 2 different shows, so no, there wouldn't be a Mardi Gras party. There is the birthday party from the thugs and then one from the palace for Rapunzel.

Thats what I was afraid of. It wasn't a DCL planned party. All of the guests from NOLA pulled out beads, throws and umbrellas and second lined through the restaurant.

I sailed on the Magic during Mardi Gras in February 2023. Just reaffirming there was NO Mardi Gras party.

Me too, sailed Magic end of February and the characters did have their Mardi Gras outfits but no party.

Join a cruise group (found elsewhere on the internet, probably. Others may have a similar idea, already. If not, you can introduce the idea.

I imagine there are many cruisers who select that particular cruise who will have the “ laissez le bon temps rouler spirit.“ You don’t have to be in any single venue, either. Everyone can pull out their favorite gold, green, and purple fashion and beads.
