Hey everyone! Here is my [rough] dining plan. I'm not using the Disney Dining Plan though, so don't worry about that. I've only made reservations for California Grill since that fills up fast & most of these are maybes for now. I haven't decided on a lot of things - which are bolded. That's where you come in! :)

April 1.
Arrive early afternoon
Staying at Pop Century - grabbing a snack at the food court because we have a late dinner.
Dinner ~ California Grill just in time for Wishes :)

April 2.
Breakfast ~ Whispering Canyon Cafe
Dinner ~ Le Cellier (ps: how do you pronounce "cellier" haha, i took italian in school, not french! :/)

April 3.
Donald's Breakfastasaurus
Dinner ~ Rainforest Cafe (AK)

April 4.
Breakfast ~ can't decide between Kona or 'Ohana!
Dinner ~ Gulliver's Grill (not sure about this either.. any reviews??)

April 5.
Princess breakfast at Akershus
Dinner ~ Garden Grill

April 6.
We are spending the day and night at Universal's IoA but want to eat in a resort restaurant for breakfast first. Help us decide! :)

April 7.
Breakfast - Boma
Dinner - not sure yet. Help! Must be a resort restaurant.

April 8. ***BIRTHDAY DAY*** hehehehe
Chef Mickey's - breakfast
Sci Fi - Lunch
1900 Park Fare - Dinner (getting a slipper for dessert! :D)

April 9.
Breakfast - not sure yet, help!
50's Prime Time - lunch
Liberty Tree Tavern - dinner

April 10.
Our flight leaves at 3pm. Suggest a resort restaurant that we don't already have planned for breakfast please. We were thinking Cape May Cafe.

Thanks everyone!! :worship: pixiedust:

You should definitely try the Cape May breakfast -- it is one of our favorites. The food is good and the character interaction is great. It is a little more laid back than the other character meals.

*bump*

please let me know what you think everyone! :)

Our trip overlaps with yours! Bet you're as excited as we are (as long as the NWA pilots don't strike...)

We did Gulliver's Grill about three years ago. We all did the buffet. The food was adequate, it doesn't stick out in my mind as being either great or awful. The character interaction was fantastic because the restaurant was pretty empty. It was not cheap but it was an enjoyable night overall.

For your resort dinner, what about Kona? Then you could do O'Hanas for breakfast. We are trying Kona for the first time on this trip based on the reviews I have read here and I'm excited about it. Another thought would be Flying Fish on the Boardwalk, not cheap but we were also there three years ago and it was wonderful. If you took the bus to Epcot from Pop you could easily walk to the Boardwalk.

Have fun!

EEEE! yes we are so excited too!!! :):)

Thanks so much for all your help and have a wonderful trip!

I posted my dining plan at the same time you did yours! I, too, would vote for Flying Fish, which is amazing. Plus you could explore the Boardwalk after dinner. I went to Kona for dinner last time I was at DW and loved it. I don't know what breakfast is like, but the Kona coffee is a must. We got it for dessert and they gave us extra in a to go cup. Enjoy your trip!

Between Kona and 'Ohana for breakfast, I would definitely go for Kona. I highly recommend the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes...they were amazing!

For the day you go to Universal, I would not eat a resort breakfast. Eat something when you get there. The key to doing Universal offsite is to get there at park opening! I am partial to the Cinnabons that are in the Port of Entry at IOA!

Also, I think you are planning a lot of sit down meals. On one of the days you have 3 table service meals. When we do Disney, we just never seem to be that hungry. We do one table service meal and then grab a counter service or snacks for the rest of the day. You don't really have to make ADRs for every meal - B,L,D. Unless, of course, you just want to take it easy and enjoy all the restaurants. At the most I would do a breakfast and a dinner.

Also, you seem to be hopping a lot. That is also going to take time. On your birthday day you have a MK resort for Breakfast, a MGM restaurant for lunch and then an MK resort for dinner.

You have a lot of great choices and several of my favorites!! I also think you should do Cape May. I think it is our favorite character meal.

Maggiew - yeah I agree with you about all the TS restaurants but we've already decided we are not going to be eating full meals the whole time. We really want to experience a ton of the restaurants as well as getting our favorites in. See like, on the days where we have B,L,D scheduled it's not like we'll be pigging out the whole time. hehe But thanks for your advice & i will definitely take all of it into consideration!! :)

Hi! I can't comment on the ones you haven't decided on yet, but we will be at Akershus for breakfast on April 5th too! Also doing some of the other ones you have planned. DD is turning 4 and her birthday dinner will be at LTT on 4/3. Also doing 50's Prime Time for lunch. Should be a lot of fun.

That sounds great. I just wanted to mention that because I think people think it will be like at home - B, L, D. But for some reason when we get to WDW, we just hardly seem hungry. Maybe its because we go in the summer and its tooo hot to eat. :scratchin .

We love to go and experience all the restaurants. We are slowly making our way through most of them. We usually try new ones every trip - maybe one or two repeats.

You have a lot of great meals planned! I think you will enjoy yourself.
