Okay, we are usually "go in the morning, take a break and back out in the evening" kind of folks. That said, I would like to dine at MK for dinner on Christmas. Since it's completely likely that MK will close at some point during the day, what happened if you have a PS at a park restaurant?

If you have your heart set on having dinner at MK on Christmas Day, then you should plan to get to the park early and spend the day. The park will most likely close (it usually does on Christmas Day) and you won't be able to get in. Having a PS for dinner won't help you get in if the park is closed. I like taking an afternoon break too, but if you want to be in the MK for dinner that probably won't be possible. You might want to plan on arriving a little later that morning (not too late though) so you don't tire out. Or else you can just plan on having dinner elsewhere and enjoy MK on another day.

Happy planning! :D

Thank you for posting this. We planned on an afternoon break Christmas day. I am making PS tomorrow for inside MK. I had no idea we wouldn't be able to get back in.

So Christmas day is THAT busy? Wow.
How about the days just before and after Christmas day? Are they any better, or just as busy?
TIA
I had posted this question about a week ago but didn't get any responses.

Hi! I'm a little anxious about booking tomorrow's dinner. I haven't decided where to eat yet!! I was thinking that an early lunch would be great at the CP or LTT would be fun** I know that we need to make dinner ressies tomorrow, but I just can't decide on a dinner place. I have a 3yr old and an 11yr old and a DH who is more impatient than the kids!! Has anyone had a memorable Christmas Day Dinner experience that you'd recommend? Please share!! I'm open to any restaurant!! We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge, but I don't want to eat at their restaurants for that day since we'll be eating at them during our 12 day stay quite a bit! TIA Need ideas quick**

So if you have a PS reservation in the MK and the park is closed, you can't get in? But your credit card has already been charged, do they issue a refund? Just curious.

Went to MK on Christmas morning, knowing it would be busy and planned to spend the day(even though we also like to break in the middle of the day). We decided to go with the flow and did our favorite rides in the morning, went to the special Christmas show near Buzz, snacked all day (had club level breakfast before we left the Swan) and had ressies for LTT for around 5, after the parade. We had staked out a space for the parade for quite a while, but it was a magical day. We took our time and soaked it all in. One of the most memorable Christmas days we have ever spent. Enjoy, it is a special family time. ::MickeyMo
