Can anyone tell me the difference in the lunches and the dinners at the Biergarten other than the price which seems to be substantially higher for dinner? Do they do the singing and dancing at lunchtime? Thanks in advance. CC

Yes. They do the entertainment in the lunch hours.
There are a few entree differences in the menus.

I believe with the recent round of price increases last fall, the price of lunch and dinner is the same now for Biergarten

We've done both and the one think that I REALLY like from dinner that was missing form lunch was the potato balls (I'm not sure what their real name is, we just always call them potato balls)

yeah this is one of our favorites. The major difference used to be the sauerbraten but now there is no difference in content or price. one of the last holdouts of a bargain at WDW :)

Total bummer. We enjoyed lunch there to no only walk it off but the price difference. Likely another location off the list. Funny that years ago we would hop to Epcot to eat dinner so many nights .... now I feel like I am settling if I have to eat there.
Yes!

As recently as 2008 we got park hoppers in conjunction with the deluxe dining plan so that we could hop to Epcot for dinner. We did this on our AK day. And, back then, it was only a few dollars to add a park day, so we would use days to go to Epcot for dinner after the water parks.

Not sure if the all day pricing is accurate. I saw menu pricing on different sites that still say a different lunch pricing for late 2018. In any event the pricing does vary for lunch and dinner. The difference if lunch is still around was in general just one carving station which what amounts to a German version of Pot roast in my opinion I never cared for it so I mostly had lunch there. That leads me to my opinion: I went every trip and always enjoyed it (don't get me started in the pricing as it use to be a LOT less) we ate there in 2016 and said ahh it is changing skipped it in 2017 and ate the in August 2018 which for lunch was 35 plus tax and tip the day we went than it ranged from 32-35 seemingly.... lets just say the took a lot of things off the menu and my favorites were not very good as it was clear they were using lower quality meats. The highlight was the baked Mac and Cheese it was amazing.... but all said and done almost 45 a person for great mac and cheese is a bit pricey to say the least. Sadly after going almost (the one I skipped) every trip for over 20 years is done... and truly mean sadly as I did very much enjoy the food and entertainment. If they are charging 44 a person plus tax and tip and have the same quality they did last year I would suppose the person escorting you in will be wearing a mask.
