Dining for 9 and 11 year old boys

My family is making their first trip to WDW in October for 8 days. We have purchased the MYW Dining plan.

My boys are 9 and 11 and are very disinterested in Character meals. What are good table service places that the boys would think are "cool" places to eat?

Sci Fi at the studios is great for boys.
If boys would be interested in any character meals, it would be Donalds. Even if they dont care about the characters, the atmosphere there is very boyish.

Rainforest Cafe is another good place that young boys would enjoy.

How about the All Star Cafe at the Wide World of Sports. I believe they are on the dining plan. We plan to stop there with our GS on his next trip. My son and grandson also love the 50s Prime Time and Trail's end.

SciFi is my thought, too! They might also enjoy WCC esp if they get into crazy antics, and 50's PT if they like seeing mom and dad get picked on

Sci Fi was number one for my choice (the then teenage son loved it). Also, 50s Prime Time Cafe also at MGM IF the boys are into antics. Otherwise, don't bother.

The teenager also like Le Cellier and Rose and Crown. Mexico is nice but very authentic. My now adult son wants to go back but his picky mother vetos it. Oh, Germany is great too. Buffet and a band. Cape May Buffet for seafood.

Can't help you with Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom. Nothing there really is a must do for us.

My sons are 9 and 11 and they love sports so they adore the ESPN Club. I've never been but they do fun things for kids at the Whispering Canyon Cafe i've heard.
