Dining Experience

What is the Disney Dining Experience? Is it worth it? How has it benefitted anyone. I really need to know some examples of did it actually pay off to buy it.

It is a card available to Florida Residents and Annual Passholders that gives a discount at most restaurants at Walt Disney Wortld, as well as half prices Pleasure Island passes, free parking for the purpose of dining and a few others.

We've had it for a couple years and it has paid off. ASt $60 to $85 for the card, you only need to spend $300-425 in dining to break even. Not hard to do.

We have saved a ton of money. I think it has been worth it. It saved us 20% on all our ts meals.

We saved quite a bit of money with ours. Warning: you may find yourself planning extras trips to save even more!

They raised the price at the beginning of the year. They also are charging for a second card and not just automatically giving a second one.

Even though I travel single I have saved on my first trip and will reap the benifits this year before my card expires. It has allowed me to eat at places I would not have done so. You get 20 percent at most Disney table service places including drinks for any meal and at foodcourts where there are no table service such as POFQ,POP etc. It was worth it for me but with the new increase price I would have to think hard before I get it again. For those with family it is well worth the cost.

We are Annual Passholders that also have the Dining Experience card. We have found that it pays for itself in our situation several times.

But one warning...You cannot use the card if you are eating someplace on another plan. For example, you cannot get the discount if you are eating at a restaraunt in MGM on the Fantasmic Package.
