I have heard that it is possible and advisable to make both my dining (Palo) and Excursion reservations prior to boarding the ship. I've heard that, even though I am not sailing until November, I should make my reservations now. We will be on the 7 day Eastern cruise.

Where can I find out what excursions will be available then, and where do I make these reservations? Am I jumping the gun to do this now?

All thoughts apprecaited..... Paul:confused:

MY understanding is you cannot prebook Palos and excursions can be prebooked 60 days in advance - no sooner. I could be wrong.........

Which week in Nov are you cruising? We will be on the Nov 30th Eastern cruise.

You can only pre-book Palo if you have a concierge suite (category 1, 2, or 3).

Disney6 is correct that you can book shore excursions 60 days in advance of sailing. For more information, check out the DCL website's "Fun Ashore" page (link). Select the "reserved in advance" link at the bottom of the page, and a window will pop up with information on how to pre-book excursions.
