Dining during MVMCP

we did Crystal Palace before the Party last December......of course we got RAINED OUT .....but Crystal Palace was a great buffet...

You could also try the restaurants in the hotels on the monorail line. We usually have dinner at the 1900 Park Fare(GF) or Chef Mickey's(Cont); then hop on the monorail to get to the party!:thumbsup2

I have been trying to get LTT before the part on the 11 th. Nothing available! So, we made a ressie at Kona. I wont give up. :rotfl:

LTT and Tony's are the only table service restaurants open during the party.

CP, the Castle and the Plaza are open till about 7:00p.

Then you could also try the monorail restaurants.

Unfortunately, just about everything is already booked solid on party night for this year.

Ah well, thanks anyway for the info. I tried to get Tony's during the party on Dec 2, but all I got was 4:30pm. Good enough, I guess, since we'll be there anyway, but it would've been great to be sitting there with the snow on main street and the parade going by... ah well.

We added it on at the last minute.

There are usually anywhere from 17-26 of us for MVMCP ...... one year we ate at LTT, but now everyone prefers Crystal Palace - with a party our size, only time we can get is 3:45 .... but that's ok - we eat and then head over to Tomorrowland to watch the Night Before Christmas stage show while they transition the park.

We are doing CP at 5:30 before the party starts I hope it will work ok for us.

we are doing Chef Mickey at 5:00 PM before our MVMCP, then walking over to MK instead of taking the Monorail. I know with taking a 4 yr old, if I don't feed him before we go in, he won't eat all night!!

4:30 or 5:00 is actually a good time to eat, as they will show the traditional Wishes fireworks at 6:00 on most or all MVMCP nights. They started doing this last year, and the schedule indicates they will do it again this year.

I like the traditional Wishes better than the Holiday version, so for me this is very welcome! Last year I found out about it too late to change our 5:30 Tony's ADR. But we showed up at 5:00 anyway and were seated immediately, without making any special request. And we did finish in time to see Wishes!

We have Ohana reservations but my sister and her family would prefer Crystal Palace. I just wasn't sure if it was open during the party.

Thanks for the info everyone!
