Dining @ Dolphin/Swan?

Where are the best places to eat at when staying at the Dolphin or Swan? Does everyone go to the Boardwalk or eat onsite? Thanks!

Your choices are endless. We ate at the buffet at the Swan which was good and Palio's which was wonderful. Shula's at the Dolphin is also very very good. THe Flying Fish and Spoodles on the Boardwalk are just steps away. We always enjoy the Cape May cafe at the Beach Club and the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. You have all these restaurants within walking distance , not to mention all of the dining options you can walk or take the boat to in the World Showcase.

Boardwalk restaurants and BC/YC restaurants are only about a 10 minute walk. We have eaten at our fav on the Boardwalk - Flying Fish Cafe. We enjoyed Shula's (quite pricey) and the Coral Cafe in the Dolphin. Another return visit was made to the Yachtsman Steak House in the YC which we love.

Another question - I have read there is character dining at Dolphin/Swan. Are they on certain days and what characters are there?

The character interaction is very good but there is usually a very limited number of characters at each meal.
