Has there always been dining discounts for AP holders, or is this new? Do all holders get a discount?

There have always been some dining discounts for AP holders.

I think the current discount list is more expansive than most years..and includes some QS discounts (that I've not seen before) and currently 30% at some Signatures.

In past years, TIW (20% on 95% of TS food and drink) was always a no-brainer ... now, it mostly only makes sense if you purchase enough alcohol.

But, buyer beware, discounts can and do change without notice (like the time they removed the 20% merchandise discount from the top tier of AP's)

So with the ap expanded dining discount ending on 9/30, we are wondering if there are any rumors about extending it to the end of the calendar year? We had planned to use it in September but Irma had other plans. That trip was pushed to the end if October.
