bringing some hope, last summer I booked CRT the night before, I made the call around 9:30pm just to find the current price and they had availability for 4 for the next day. Do call or check online even on the same day, I know it is stressful but it works

That's because we want you to love Disney World as much as we do! Keep looking, and don't tell your kid(s) anything about plans until you have the confirmation number in hand! One thing to remember: You are going to Disney World! You're all going to have an amazing, magical time, princess meal or not, coveted ADR or not! On our first trip, we had DD5 and DNiece1 princesses in our party. We stayed offsite, didn't eat at a single table service restaurant, and were out of the park by 7pm each evening (so no evening parades, fireworks, etc). People here on the boards would be horrified at our lack of planning. Know what? We had an amazing, magical time, and it led to years and years of Disney World visits! My BIL became a part-time cast member, my sis, BIL, and now 2 nieces have had APs forEVER, DD (now 24, not 5) and I have logged 27 trips to WDW. You can't do it all in one trip, and might not even get to do everything you'd hoped to, but IT'S GOING TO BE AN AMAZING, WONDERFUL, MAGICAL VACATION!! Eyes on the prize: You're taking your family to Disney World!

This just made me cry! It really is a magical trip no matter how you plan it (or not!)! Guess that's why we just can't stop going!!

I normally let my travel agent book my dinner reservations and as busy as she is I don't believe she would be as diligent as I would about times and places. is there anyway to monitor or watch changes trends etc... almost as a mock session to familiarize myself with the system?

If you're wanting to familiarize yourself with the booking process/availability you can practice booking ADRs for any day less than 180 days from today. If you do proceed all the way to confirming the reservation just be sure to cancel it or your credit card will be charged the $10/PP no show fee.

The family we were traveling with over Thanksgiving had to cancel their trip. I booked their reservations separately so I have theirs to cancel along with a couple of my own since we will be shifting our plans. I plan on posting in the November Cancellation thread shortly.

I was shocked at how well it worked and quickly, too! I still have one I'm waiting for, but it's not a deal breaker if we don't get it. I have faith, though!

Hi, i haven't heard about this, i haven't been in a few years. We just had to move our Nov 2017 trip up about a week and are now having to redo all our dining. how do i find the reservation finder? would it be helpful this close? TIA

If you can go on Facebook and join "November 2017 adr fast pass drop" group you'll see people dropping adrs also. Otherwise touring plans has a free finder.

Just wait till a few days before you go. All those people who have several reservations for each meal will start cancelling to avoid charges. Friends of ours got everything they wanted that way during Easter week!
