Dining Dilemma

Hi, Ive been to WDW many times. i have plans again for August with my dd who will 14 at that time and ds 15. Tried quite a few restaurants. This time i want to try Hoop De Doo. I have been considering Whispering Canyon and Trails End. I know HDDR is a show and the type of food they serve. Would it be a waste of dining credits if i did one of the others which seem to serve the same type of food?Ive picked out so many places and have to narrow it down. I would also possibly like to try CRT and Luau. Any thoughts?

HDD is a lot more fun than Whispering Canyon or Trails End. If the food is all that matters you can eat the same food at Trails End. I wouldn't do both Hoop and Trails End. That said, I don't use the dining plan. So I'm not concerned about spending 2 credits. You should realize CRT and the luau are two credits as well. Unless you are on the deluxe plan you may use up all your credits just on these.

I think Trails end serves the same flavor of food at the HDDR......the show is great ...We did the Luau in May and again we had a great time and the food was excellent.....two youngsters had a great time too....
Have fun is the main thing at the shows.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I sorta had a feeling bout Trails. Im doing the DX again this year i think. Its lots of food that i know but thought of doing both shows and CRT(any thoughts?). I know they all take up the 2 credits. Im just trying to do things that i havent done in the past.

We did both HDDR and Whispering Canyon on one trip before and I said I wouldn't do that again either - it just seemed to much of the same (theme, food type) to me.

Wow, thank you all so much for the input. Actually i had a feeling this would be the response. Well this made my decision so much easier. Im trying to plan my whole trip as far in advance as i could. I defintely could use a lil help planning my days and meals. I started another thread on the board but havent had responses to it. Im going to try to find it and get it back up to the top so people will see it and hopefully give input there as well. Thanks all!
