Dining Deluxe plan

We have booked the dining plan but I am thinking about going deluxe. There are 5 of us, one under 3. I know he is free. I was just thinking that I would like to go without brining a lot of food with us. I want it to be as easy as can be.
What is everyone's thoughts on the deluxe plan?

We LOVE it for the reason you said- we didn't bring any food with us at all!!! Also, it gave us the luxury of going to signature restaurants that use 2 TS credits. Some days, our breakfasts were more on the go, and we would get our free coffee (it counts as a mug refill) and a few items that counted as snacks, so we had plenty of dining credits to cover the 2 TS credit meals.

We are using the DxDP for our upcoming trip. We love the convenience and easy as well as the fact that it looks like it will save us close to $500 based on our calculations. We are two adults and two children.

I think you might be able to bring back some leftover snacks with the Deluxe plan.

We're doing it because my kids like character breakfasts a few of the days we're there, we also do a TS dinner, and we sometimes like TS lunches (depends on where we are). I ran the numbers, and we end up saving some money. And we get to try some signature meals this time, which I'd avoided doing before.

Worked great for us with kids aged 3, 2, and 2.

We liked actually doing three meals a day -- it gave us a much-needed break in the middle of the day, and avoided the madhouses that the CS places can be at prime lunch time.

Character breakfast, in-park TS lunch, and then dinner (anywhere) worked really well. It forced us into making pretty specific plans, but it paid off in having well-structured days.
