Dining credits question...

I am asking this question for my neighbor, who is going to be going next month with the dining plan. Since I am DVC, I do not know the answer for her. Let's say they are staying 7 nights. I know they get a total of 7 credits per person, snack, CS and TS. My question is when can they use them? If you have 7 nights, you technically have 8 days, including arrival and departure days. When are the credits good for, on the arrival day, checkout day or both???

Each person gets seven table service, seven counter meals, and seven snacks. For four people that is 28 of each type. If somebody shares a table service meal on the first day, you will only have used 3 of the 28. If you do that for 3 days, you will have enough for the eighth day. If all four share (say you only use 2 per day) a couple of times you can double up and go to a dinner show (that requires 2 per person). Basically, you can use them at anytime in any combination from check in until midnight of your check out day.

Perfect thank you! So, they can spread the credits out among both check in day, and check out day, that is exactly what I needed to know!
