I am pretty sure I'm over thinking this. However, if I check out of yc with 2 credits and then check in at blt where i am also on the ddp what effect will that have on my credits? does that mean I have my 2 credits plus my credits for the new dining plan?

in other words...checking in at a 2nd resort does not the expiration of my credits right?

Any unused credits expire at midnight on the day you check out from the resort. In your case with the split stay your TX credits will expire at midnight the day you check out from there.

One other note....you cannot combine credits from the two different plans, so if you're planning on a signature dinner on the day you check out of the first place, you'll need 2 credits from the SAME plan.

I am so glad someone asked this question - I did this in Dec. 2012, and used the last of the credits associated w/ my first room on check out day from that room - no problems.
I am a tad concerned about my next trip, which I may do as a split stay as well, specifically has anyone done this w/ MBs?
I don't really understand the MBs and how they work, assume I check out of resort A planning to use my last dinning credits from that res. for a late dinner that night. I go over to resort B and check in, not intending to use any credits on resort B's stay until the next day. I am a bit concerned that the fact that I have checked into B before I actually use A's last credits will somehow wipeout those to be used that night A credits because of the new 'smarter' MB.
Thoughts?

As far as I can tell it's not an issue because (as of now) you have two sets of MB. So use one up first then wear the other.

How many bands you have, or which ones you wear is not relevant - ALL of your magic bands should be able to read ALL of your resort reservations. There is nothing stored on the bands. The bands don't do anything but access your My Disney Experience profile.

Just tell the server that you want to use the two credits remaining from your previous account.

Since you cannot combine the credits between the two accounts (you could not go to a 2 credit restaurant with 1 credit left over and combine that 1 credit with a credit from the new account), they should be able to read and deduct from either account until the first one expires.
