Dining by the pool at Pop?

Can you get your food to go at the Pop food court and then eat at the (bowling pin) pool? I'm assuming yes, but I just wanted to check.

I don't see why not. I can't remember if there were any tables back there though, so you may have to put the tray on your lap

There are plenty of tables around the 60's pool...in fact...they were closely located to guests rooms.... a guest can walk a few steps out in the morning...and have a table and a great view If I knew how to post pics..I could show you!!

Absolutely. It is counter service so you are getting your food on a tray. There is no reason why you couldn't take it to the pool and eat there if you wish. There are several tables with umbrellas around the pool area. My only suggestion is to please take your trash with you to a garbage can when you are done and return the tray to the food court.

Actually, Everything POP has a few tables right outside the food court as well as the tables around the pool. Shouldn't be any problem eating by the pool. It's only a few (25, or so) steps away from the food court.

Thanks everybody for your replies!! Our first night we will get there about 6 and I thought it would be great to eat by the pool and let DD6 swim a little (and let mom and dad stick their tired feet in after driving 11 hours!)

We had a room poolside in the 80's section and ate outside almost every morning. It was very convenient to be able to leave the room and enjoy our meal outside. The only problem we had was the distance from the foodcourt...sometimes the food would be cold by the time we got back to the pool.

We have eaten by both pools several times - sometimes it is difficult because of smoke as the tables are popluar place for smokers - then we move back inside or to the room. Same thing at the tables outside the food court.

I have to agree there were limited tables by the bowling pin pool when we were there as well. Maybe have someone stay back by the pool and grab a table so you have a place to eat.
