Dining based on resort

When the free dining is available does the quick service come free if you do a value resort booking and then does the regular dining plan come free if you book a moderate resort or is would I have to pay the price difference of the dining plans?

For the past I think 2 years, you get QSDP for free at values and basic DDP for free at moderates and deluxes with the free dining promotion in the US.

that is what i thought. so if i book at a value i get the qsdp free, if i book at a moderate i get the ddp free. thanks

If you are British and booking via the UK, you will not get free dining at all at a value, quick service at a moderate, and regular dining at a deluxe.

If you are booking the general US-based offer, it's been free quick service at a value, free regular dining at moderate or deluxe, with the exception of some of the PIN codes where it's also been quick service for the moderates.

If I book a value resort and get the QSDP can I pay the difference to upgrade to the DDP? What is the cost difference?

I am staying in a moderate but my pin code was only for QS, I had to pay extra $$ to upgrade. It was approx $100/pp for 7 nights.
