We are thinking of going to see ICE at Gaylord Palms, while on our Dec. trip. I looked at their dining options, and although I generally don't care for buffets, Villa de Flora sounds like an interesting choice. Has anyone ever eaten there? How was it, and do you remember how much it was? Thanks for any info. you may have.

Quality is excellent, on the par with the better buffets in Vegas.

Not sure of the cost, but we stayed there a when it first opened and it was very good. A medditerranean flair and something for everyone. The price was not out of line as far as I remember.

Thanks for the help. :) Do you think the prices were similar to the WDW dinner buffets? Also, do you think we will need a reservation for anytime between Dec. 27th & Jan. 2nd? I'm not sure which night yet, because I have some newly discovered scheduling problems. :( Thanks again!

There is no comparison between the WDW dinner buffets and GP. The quality of the food and service IS SIGNIFICANTLY better at GP but you don't get the party atmosphere you get with the Disney characters.

I think the prices are similar, prehaps a little more expensive, but definitely worth it.

I'd suggest a reservation, even if call when you get down there.
