Dining assignments ?

We are anticipating our first DCL cruise -- 3 Days on the Wonder, Cat 3, #8032, next February. We are very excited, especially after reading through the new Passporter and the many posts on this forum.

In another thread, I saw someone mention how the "early seatings" for supper were already booked (the person was cruising in March) and that they were waitlisted.

Was I supposed to request a seating already? We booked it thru Magical Journeys and I guess it's possible that our agent (who has booked two other WDW resort stays for us) would have automatically requested an early seating since we have three kids five and under... however, on my printed conformation, I saw nothing about meals.

And a second question: will I be contacted in advance by Concierge staff (as is done when I have stayed Concierge at WDW) or do we first do that upon boarding the ship?

you can call your TA and request a specific dinning rotation. i did it through our TA and we are booked for PLA for our 7 night eastern. i hope this helps

On your confirmation, under "dining" does it say "main"? That's what my confirmation says and it means 1st seating.
